“God is within her, she will not fail.” ~ Psalm 46:5

What is truth and inspiration? Some may say these are different for everyone. But then, does that make truth relative? Is there no absolute truth? Well, for me God is truth. As a believer in Jesus and his works, He is the way, the truth, and the life. But I realize this is different for others. This is why I pose the question about truth - Is it relative?

Secondly, my inspiration is my purpose, or what God’s purpose is for me. What is your inspiration? What drives you? Some may say their love for their family, staying healthy, pursuing justice in the world, etc. Inspiration comes in different forms.

These are the two deep thoughts in which I am currently embroiled because of the direction of Education Mosaic. Everything professional in which I am engaged is centered around my business; this blog, my professional decisions, my collaboration with fellow PhD colleagues, growing the depth and breadth of the business through legal and technical means, writing an ebook, developing courses, and getting disappointed after not receiving the first and only grant I’ve ever applied for. I was disappointed for about 24 hours before I realized that just the application itself taught me a lot in this new field of online entrepreneurship. Therefore, it wasn’t a total loss. However, I will say that I wanted to use that grant money to help my clients and boost my marketing, but now I need my divergent thinking to kick in to replace the dollars I was expecting.

Yes, expecting. I operate in that way because of my truth and inspiration. There is no maybe, I hope so, I wish, etc. There is: “I am doing this and if it is for me, then it shall be.” Because I have a belief that God is the truth and He inspires me to keep going with the purpose He has for my life, disappointments like these don’t last very long. However, I will keep on going and will not fail. What God has for me, He will make happen. What was not meant for me, He will close a door and keep it shut.

So, I pose the questions for you. What is truth and inspiration in your life? If you’d like to discuss this for professional purposes, book a free call with me and we can get you to your next level!
